Everyone loves things that are new, right? A new car, new house, new baby, new golf clubs, new movie, new season, new job, new day! There’s also something about a new year. It’s a chance to reset and make changes. This series is all about A NEW BEGINNING -- starting fresh; hitting the reset button on areas in your life that aren’t going the way you want. It’s all about taking time to refocus our attention on the most important things in life.
Today’s message is focused on renewing our minds. Our mind is like a muscle. It can be strengthened and made more effective. In fact, the Bible speaks to this in Romans 12:2 NIV, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
It’s when we renew our mind that we receive clarity about who God is and what he wants.
